The breakfast was great and well presented.
This is a typical Best Western hotel. Clean, neat, friendly staff all for a reasonable price. The only issue someone might have is that the rooms are small. Not uncomfortably small, but small. Other than that it was a very nice stay.
My husband and I were visiting Lock Haven, as I went to college there and wanted to see what was new. We hadn't intended on staying the night but last minute decided why not. We drove to the Best Western and the gentleman at the front desk that night was very helpful, and we were checked in, in no time. The parking is great, the location of the actual hotel is super easy to get to, the hotel itself is really clean and comfortable. It was a rainy day (all day rain) and when we got to our room it was nice and warm, just what we needed. That night after we got settled in we decided to walk about two blocks to Fox's Market House for dinner and drinks; the gentleman at the front desk gave us great walking directions. Overall we were both very happy with our stay. Check-out was no different, the lady who helped us was very kind, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Overall I think I had value for money ( especially after New York - not Best Western!!)
We live in Hawaii and visit New York and Pennsylvania annually during the fall foliage. We have stayed at the Best Western Lock Haven, PA for the past 4 years for 3 or 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located and offers good-sized rooms for a fair price which includes breakfast. I get a bit tired of the breakfast fare after a couple of days which could offer more variety but, other than that, we have had no complaints about this facility and probably will stay there again when in the area. The staff is always friendly and courteous.
I was very happy with my six day stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. My room was clean and I enjoyed the coffee machine.
Before staying here my husband called asking about rates. Ms. April allowed us to keep the same rate for all of the nights that we were staying since it was for multiple nights. Upon arrival Grant was very helpful and allowed us to get the bill and pay for everything so all we had to do was hand them the keys on the day we left. Our room was missed for cleaning one day but was quickly fixed by the lead house keeper Ms. Mary. She loved on our dog as if it were her own and held a very nice conversation with my husband and I as we ate our lunch. Not to mention she was about to leave for the day but told April she would be there to clean it in a few minutes even though her day was over. The hotel itself is in a quiet neighborhood, only think we could really hear was the train which did not run often at all.
